Filling, yes ! But how ?
Filling machines adopt different filling or dosing technologies. The choice depends on multiple factors, first above all are the liquid to be filled and the sort of container.In order to fill PET bottles with flat or sparkling liquid products having an electrical conductivity not lower than 5, the volumetric filling system through magnetic inductive flow-meters is largely utilized; as a matter of fact, it ensures utmost accuracy and versatility, in addition to the fact that the flow-meters are maintenance-free instruments thanks to lack of moving parts inside.
Dosing operations are controlled by a PLC installed onto a filling turret.
Once measuring has been achieved, the PLC itself controls the filling valve closing.
