Christmas 2011: even the packaging changes the look

On the occasion of Christmas, where parcels, packages and gifts reign supreme, even the packaging chooses a look in keeping with the period. If the content is always the most important aspect of a gift, even the packaging plays a role not to be underestimated.

Beautiful to look at, attractive to be buyed and unwrapped: it is as it should be the packaging for special occasions. The right packaging, to enrich with added value each gift bag, has an eye, as well as for functionality, also for aesthetics.

The packaging must protect and preserve the precious gift to put under the tree for this Christmas 2011, but must also be nice to see, easy to handle and nice to “unpack”.

Ronchi awarded among P&G best suppliers

Ronchi confirmed, also for this 2011, its quality performance and excellence overseas, earning a place of honor among the suppliers of one of the most famous U.S. companies in the industry, P&G, the Procter & Gamble Company.

Ronchi won a prestigious award this year, the P&G’s Corporate Supplier Excellence Award 2011. It’s one of the best “Business Partner” by U.S. giant: Ronchi, the leader in the packaging, does not disappoint, being the only Italian company awarded as the best supplier of the year.

“I congratulate all of our award winners, especially those who were recognized as Business Partner of the Year. Our external business partners are an important part of the Company’s ability to innovate and grow, and critical to the work we do at P&G every day” said Rick Hughes, chief purchasing officer.

Only 0.1% of external business partners receive this award, a very small slice of the global suppliers of P & G. Ronchi there is.

IPACK-IMA 2012: more and more organic materials, more and more innovative packaging

The future of packaging is just around the corner and talk about organic materials and innovative packaging solutions, to ensure the highest quality and, at the same time, eco-sustainability.

These are the topics of debate and confrontation in the middle of the calendar of special events for the next edition of the Milan fair IPACK-IMA 2012, which have Ronchi among its protagonists of excellence.

Missing four months of its inauguration, scheduled for February 28, 2012, but the rich calendar of collateral events, meetings and conferences of the event is already full.

At center stage, in term of exhibition, but not only, there will be new materials. In fact, Wednesday, February 29, as indicated by the Italian Association of Science and Technology of Macromolecules (AIM), celebrating the Day of Technology dedicated to “Bioplastics for packaging food, new solutions,” organized in collaboration with its own festival dedicated to packaging, IPACK-IMA.

The aim of the day is information: spread the knowledge of bio-plastics in food packaging, highlighting the achievements, the standards achieved, but also the potential to be developed, to address the problems faced and the relationship with regulations on composting, and animate its debate and discussion on the plastics derived from petroleum.

Russia, it’s boom for the packaging market

The packaging industry made in Italy won a good share of the international market, ensuring excellent standards of quality and efficiency, thanks also to a “square” increasingly attractive, Russia. In fact, the packaging market in Russia is growing steadily.

In particular, the demand of the food packaging industry in Russia increases and, in parallel, also the demand of quality. The answer is “strong and clear”: to meet the needs of customers and consumers, providing solutions that are always up to expectations, increased investment in the renewal of machinery and packaging, the focus is on research, innovation and on technology.

Growing demand expands the business opportunities for international suppliers to offer innovative technologies and complete packaging lines. The best international showcase, in this sense, seems to be UPAKOVA / UPAK ITALY: the first floor platform to establish and maintain business contacts with the Russian packaging market. This is the international trade fair for machinery, production and packaging materials, held in Moscow, 24 to 27 January 2012.
