They look really golden days for the italian packaging, which is booming, as confirmed by data collected by the Centre for the Study of UCIMA (Union of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery for packing).

The economic turnover for the sector of italian manufacturers of machines for packing, in the first nine months of the year, has achieved very promising figures, an increase of 19 percent over the same period last year. The exports, reached +20.6 percent and the national market + 9.6 percent. At this rate, the end of the year will have a sign clearly positive.

The machines for the packaging, symbol of quality and excellence of made in Italy, has a special success in China, which have increased the import from the Italian sector of 19.8 percent, but also in the U.S. companies and by the closest “cousins ” across the Alps , the French.

The number of visitors increases every day at Packology, the show dedicated to the packaging and automation world, which inaugurated its first edition in Rimini with the cooperationship of UCIMA (the Italian Association of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers) and they do not miss to pay a visit to our stand located just at the entrance of Hall A3.

Today we have received visitors from across the Atlantic ocean, curios to see our Filling-Capping Monoblock; they enjoyed spending their time among the tables inside the booth, with their eyes pointed to the EXACTA/R 32/12 in operation.

The attention is drawn by the strong points of the EXACTA/R: capping operation by means by capping heads controlled by servomotors, filling operation through flow-meters, no-tool rapid format change-over, high performance sanitary execution with CIP/SIP washing and sterilizing systems managed from the operator’s panel in a very quick manner.

After the inauguration held yesterday, we are at the second day of Packology, the Exhibition of Technology for Packaging and Processing promoted in Rimini by UCIMA (the Italian Association of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers), in cooperationship with Rimini Fiera.
Many are the appointments, in a white-lighted location, a warm and wrapping-up colour especially selected for our furniture that, in the frenzy of the show, are offering to our visitors moments of tranquillity and relax, where they can stop and point their attention to the Filling-Capping Monoblock capable of managing recipes in a quite simple and very rapid manner.

There are less than 5 months to the first edition of Packology, the packaging show UCIMA – the Italian Association of Automatic Packaging Machinery Manufacturers – has strongly demanded and wanted.

The exhibition will take place in June 2010 at the Rimini Fairground.

Gianmario Ronchi, owner of Ronchi Mario Spa and councillor of the Association, explains the reasons:

‘Packology is the show organized and wanted by the Italian Manufacturers of automatic machines. German and American manufacturers who, altogether, hauls the market, have since long moved in this direction by organizing their own exhibitions.

Expectations are those of having the possibility of structuring the event by responding to the requirements and suggestions of exhibitors. Through Ucima, which represents us, the manufacturers can really “build-up” their own show, being well aware of the requirements of the companies operating within this industry’

We remind that the new show will occupy a space of 64000 squared meters.

Interesting facilitations are foreseen for exhibitors, aimed at allowing their participation in large numbers. This show wants to be the event of the upswing after the worldwide economic recession that poured its effects on this industry as well, even if it has reacted very well thanks to the high technological level of the offer.

In 2008, according to the data published by UCIMA, the Italian Association representing the manufacturers of automatic packaging machines, exportation towards Asia have peaked up to a 10,0% increase, by confirming the second place in the market of major outlet for the packaging machinery, with a quota that has reached the 17,3%.
Doubtless Asia represents one of the most vivid and interesting marketplaces.
